24 salted crackers (such as saltines or Ritz)
1 cup (175g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tablespoon (15ml) vegetable oil
Sprinkles or chopped nuts for decoration (optional)
Step 1: Melt Chocolate
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the semi-sweet chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
Step 2: Dip Crackers
Dip each cracker halfway into the melted chocolate, allowing any excess chocolate to drip off.
Step 3: Decorate (Optional)
Sprinkle the chocolate-dipped crackers with sprinkles or chopped nuts if desired.
Step 4: Set
Place the chocolate-dipped crackers on a parchment-lined baking sheet and let them sit at room temperature until the chocolate sets.
